Barney - Let's Take Care of our Pets

Some of us have been bringing our toy animals to school to share. 
Rata Toru has lots of fluffy, singing, cute and cuddly pets in our class at the moment!

Lauren has a fluffy Old-English Sheep Dog.

Sienna and Marissa have brought their Pillow Pets to school.
Marissa also has a big fluffy cuddly dog.

Eden has a cute bumble bee Pillow Pet.

Hayley brought her singing bird and it's cage to school.
She also brought her pink rabbit that wriggles it's tail
and her ladybird Pillow Pet.

Eva also has a singing bird. It sings a beautiful song.

Animal Sort

We have started an Inquiry topic about Pets today.
We started by taking a look at some photos of animals. 
Some of them were wild animals and some of them were pets.
We made a Venn diagram using 2 hoops. We had to decide which hoop we would put our animal into and why.
Is it a pet?
Is it a wild animal?

We classified some animals as pets and some animals as wild. 
We put some photos in the middle of our Venn diagram because those animals could be pets AND wild animals, (parrot, cat, snake, and rat).

I took a photo of our pets. In our class we have a dog and a cat and a caterpillar called Charlie.
